LCA President Michael Ehrenstein Interviews LCA Fellow Sidney Kanazawa about Diversity in the Legal Profession

| Interviews

Dear Fellows,

A scroll through our LCA website reveals that the LCA is “aggressively diverse” and is “the most diverse honorary professional society in American law.” As Fellows, we obviously deeply value diversity. The question is: Why? Why is diversity important to our litigation and trial practices?

I recently explored this question with LCA Senior Fellow Sidney Kanazawa, an incisive champion for diversity within our profession. Sidney changed my thinking on this topic, previously limited to platitudes about the right thing to do, by focusing on the reality that diversity makes us more persuasive advocates and wiser counselors.

I encourage you to watch our full interview HERE.
